Kayla’s parents got us sweet 3rd base line box tickets to see the Cardinals v Astros game a few weeks back. We ended up carpooling with Greg D. from work which was pretty neat. The game was more interesting in the beginning but overall the experience was great. If you live in or around St. Louis you need to see at least one Cardinal game a year. Cards ended up winning their second home game of the season 2 to 1.

Last year I had posted about how I wanted a home server, but didn’t have the means or the reasoning to do so. Well now after a few months of saving and buying parts when they went on sale, I have one!
It has two 1 TB Western Digital Green hard drives, 2 GB of RAM, and an Intel Mobo with an Atom Processor built in. It is passively cooled, which means it has no fans. The OS I currently have on it is Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Lucid Lynx Server Edition. I’m running uShare which allows it to share media with my Xbox 360. The two hard drives are also in a software controlled RAID 1 Mirror set. I’ve had it for about a month now, and Kayla and I are both liking it because I don’t have to leave my power hungry gaming machine on to watch TV now!
I love when a song that you just love gets stuck in your head.
